5K FOR THE SPENCER CO. SPECIAL OLYMPICS TEAM

Our committee is proud to announce that the 2026 Spencer County 5K will benefit the Spencer County Special Olympics Team. Each year, we select a local organization that makes a meaningful impact in our community, and we are honored to support a program that embodies inclusion, determination, and the power of teamwork.

Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and athletic competition for individuals with intellectual disabilities, helping athletes build confidence, develop skills, form lasting friendships, and experience the joy of achievement. By supporting our local team, we help ensure athletes have access to uniforms, equipment, travel opportunities, and the chance to represent Spencer County with pride.
